Why do I need the My Disney Experience app? ›

The My Disney Experience app starts lending a helping hand before your vacation even begins. You can use it to view and manage your vacation plans, add experiences to your itinerary, and use planning tools that will help you prepare for your big trip. Want to streamline your arrival?

If you are willing to keep the whole family on a single account, then they'll need their own account when (if) they begin traveling to Disney World on their own or making plans with friends who aren't on your Friends & Family List.

You can view and manage your Disney Resort hotel bookings, theme park admission, reservations and more on the My Plans page. From here, add select experiences, make updates and see your plans organized into daily itineraries.

Click the "Settings" button next to his name, then click "Share Planning with..." and enter the email address associated with your son's My Disney Experience account. Once he accepts the invitation on his end, he will be able to view and co-manage all of his plans!

The benefits of My Disney Experience include:

View the plans for each day of your holiday – this includes your dining reservations, Wish List items and Disney FastPass+ times. Learn about all the attractions that are available, and find out which are the top attractions at each park.

A person can either have their own My Disney Experience account or an account profile managed by another person. It's important to connect with each member of your party as Family & Friends in My Disney Experience, which allows you to view and make plans for each other.

You may not share your subscription outside of your household. “Household” means the collection of devices associated with your primary personal residence that are used by the individuals who reside therein.

Just choose My Disney Experience, select My Family & Friends under the My Account section and sign in. (If you've registered with a site like disneyland.com, ABC.com, ESPN.com or DVCMember.com, you can use the same member name and password.) Does Disney check names on tickets? ›

When a ticket is scanned at the theme park entrance for the first time, a Cast Member will take a digital photo of the Guest using the ticket. The photo is what officially assigns the ticket to that Guest, and Cast Members will not necessarily need to check names or verify identification.

You can reassign a ticket on a web browser by logging in to your My Disney Experience account and scrolling down to “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets.” Click on “Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker.” Scroll down to find the ticket you would like to reassign and to the right of the ticket you should see “Reassign Ticket.” ...

As for your Family & Friends List, there is currently no maximum number of people you can be linked with on your My Disney Experience account! However, if you are travelling with a large group, it may be easier to make certain reservations by splitting the group into smaller sub-groups.

If you need to add your spouse or kids, sign into your My Disney Experience account. Choose Family & Friends then go to the bottom where you have the option to Add a Guest.
